Sorry for the late posting. We are at Brookside market this morning until 11:00. Also, we are delicering CSA bags to B’nai Emunah at 10:30 and Spirit Event Center at 1:30.

This week’s bag includes:

Harvest Update

It has been a rainy week. Our irrigation pond is full for the first time in four years! Things are growing. Too bad we can’t get out to hoe the weeds for a few more days yet…

This week we are delivering to Brookside Market, B’nai Emunah, Spirit Event Center, and Okmulgee.

Our CSA bags will likely include:

Strawberries
Broccoli
Carrots
Beets
Lettuce
and we will divide up the sugar snap peas
And maybe something else. I will have to do a garden survey tomorrow.

Harvest Update

Hello Friends,

Brookside Farmer’s Market starts this week at the 41st and Peoria Whole Foods parking lot. We will have our stand up from 7:30am-11:00. We will still be there taking down afterwards but those are the official market hours. Please let us know if you are not able to make it during those hours to pick up your CSA bag.

This week, we will be delivering to JCT, Brookside Market, and B’nai Emunah.

This week’s CSA share will likely include:

Napa Cabbage
Strawberries
Kale
Lettuce
Radishes
Parsley and few green onions

For those at our JCT stop, we will give you spinach instead of Kale and salad turnips instead of radishes since you got those on the last delivery. Also, we plan to drop off your bags early Wednesday morning on our way into market, probably around 06:30. We will have the receptionist keep them until they are picked up.

Harvest Update

Hello Friends,

Sorry for the late posting. My wife and I were out of town for a farmer friend’s wedding until this afternoon and then I went straight to the asparagus field. We will leave our orders open until noon tomorrow, but the sooner you get them in, the better.

We are picking strawberries! We plan to include them in this week’s CSA. I have posted a few extra to sell, but I really don’t know how many we will have until we pick tomorrow. Yesterday’s picking went to all of the extended family and to the strawberry shortcake party we are having this evening for Hudson’s first birthday.

This week’s CSA will likely include:

Strawberries
Asparagus
Spinach
Lettuce (Head or mix, I don’t know)
Salad Turnips

We are delivering to Brookside, Congregation B’nai Emunah, Spirit Event Center, and Okmulgee.

This week’s CSA share will likely include:

Green leaf lettuce
Asparagus
Kholrabi
Radishes
Red Russian Kale
Bok Choy
Green onions

Those at JCT will be getting a slightly different mix as we don’t want you to miss out on last week’s sweet potatoes!

We had a few of the first strawberries of the season for breakfast this morning. They will be coming your way soon!!

This week we are delivering to Brookside (Whole Foods), Spirit Event Center, and the Hwy 16 and 75 Junction. We have added a few more items to our online market this week. If you haven’t tried our Hakurai salad turnips, you are missing out!

This week’s CSA share will likely include:

Asparagus
Butterhead lettuce or spring mix
Collards or Kale (or Spinach if you request it)
Salad Turnips
Green Onions
Fall harvested sweet potatoes (They are really good!)

We have a few spots left on our Wednesday CSA. If you have any friends that are interested, we would be glad to have them join. Just have them fill out a registration form and sign up on this market site.

We are increasing our CSA fruit offerings this year with blackberries at least one week in addition to strawberries along with canteloupe and watermelon. Also we are kicking off the season with some winter harvest carrots we saved and (next week) we will be serving some of our fall sweet potato crop (which are still very sweet and most excellent eating)

And the season begins

Hello Friends,

The 2015 spring harvest season is underway! Our first CSA/online market delivery is this week. For those of you who haven’t gotten around to signing up yet, do not despair! We still have space available. But if you would like vegetables this week, you will need to sign up today! You can do so on our website: www.fishersproduce.com. and then bring payment to the delivery.

We will be delivering to the Whole Foods Parking on at 41st and Peoria this Wednesday from 12:00-12:30pm. This will be our schedule for the month of April, but once the Bookside Farmer’s Market opens, you will be able to pick up anytime between 8am and noon.

Our John Christner Trucking and Spirit Event Center deliveries will be on alternate weeks the same as last year. For CSA members at these locations, we will be starting the Spirit Event Center CSA deliveries next week on April 15 and JCT on April 22. We will however be doing an online market delivery to JCT this week. and will be by around 11:30am.

We will also be starting our regular Beggs/Okmulgee delivery with a drop at the Hwy 16 and 75 junction at 9:30am. Please contact us for other arrangements if needed.

Please get your orders in by tonight as we will be starting our harvest on Tuesday.
